About

The Reunion Project was founded in 2015 by long-term survivors of HIV who recognized that there is a community of individuals who survived the AIDS epidemic, but have since been marginalized by the very community that they helped to build. The Reunion Project provides a safe space for survivors of HIV to come together to share their stories, and it honors their resilience amid significant adversity and profound loss. These stories deserve to be told, shared and used as a source of inspiration to help those who may be grappling with isolation, depression or post-traumatic stress as a result of surviving the epidemic.
